Sierra Vista Fire & Medical Services is an “all-hazards” emergency service provider that responds to a variety of situations including fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, and specialized rescues. All personnel are trained Emergency Medical Technicians at the basic Level (EMT-B), and more than half are trained as Certified Emergency Paramedics.

Sierra Vista Fire & Medical Services is the primary provider of emergency ambulance transport within the City of Sierra Vista. All Sierra Vista Fire & Medical Services personnel are trained to the minimum national standard of firefighter I and II. In addition, several employees hold specialized individual certifications to include hazardous materials technician, technical rescue technician, tactical paramedic, arson investigator, physical fitness trainer and child passenger safety specialist.
