Absolute worst place to work. Micromanaging, upper admin has no idea what there doing, and zero extra training. No opportunities for movement and the employees here are bottom of the barrel hires that definitely should not be in law enforment. The equipment is okay for a small city but who knows when and if it’s going to work when it’s really needed. Upper admin has no idea what there doing and commonly makes calls that are very questionable. This department has been investigated multiple times and has had officers charged by the DA for various offenses. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
