Mormon Lake Fire District (MLFD) is an absolute nightmare. From being banned from using the day room/board room, to having no air conditioning in the station, the conditions are unacceptable.

“Chief” Shawn Western continues to keep the station in disarray, cluttered with his personal DJ equipment. On top of that, his dog which he essentially abandoned at the station has caused thousands of dollars in damage.

That said, the staff themselves are nothing short of amazing. They consistently do fantastic work with minimal training and outdated gear much of it older than they are. The captains do their best to lead and support the team, but unfortunately, that support doesn’t go any higher up the chain.
