The Knoxville Fire Department is a well-established, mid-sized municipal fire agency with deep historical roots and a modern all-hazards mission. It combines fire suppression, EMS, and specialized rescue services while maintaining a strong focus on prevention and community safety.
The department’s biggest issue is the toxic entitlement of some members who constantly tear down the department while contributing nothing to make change where they can. Most of the issues these members complain about are beyond the departments control. For those us who show up and give 100% every shift, its a great place to work and we are thankful for the changes the leadership has made and are trying to make.

This department is ran by three Disney characters Hughy Dewey Louie. There is zero leadership and the place is a train wreck.
