The Forsyth County Fire Department (FCFD) is a professional, all-hazards emergency services organization serving Forsyth County, Georgia, including the city of Cumming. Established in 1972 as a volunteer fire department, FCFD has evolved into a career fire department providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, fire prevention, and public education. Under the leadership of Fire Chief Barry Head, the department is committed to protecting lives, property, and the community through professional emergency response, training, and public service.
