Chester Township Fire Department is a combination department (paid EMS volunteer fire) most of the equipment is older, and poorly maintained always dirty. They have some newer equipment, quality training is nonexistent. Personnel are friendly but not the family atmosphere I was promised at interview. They waste a lot of money
They have captains with history of legal troubles and sexual harassment From what I have learned in my short time here the commanders of this department have successfully pushed all of the former great members out.
