He’s a career fire cheif that ascended the ranks quickly, serving little time on the “floor”. Very out of touch as to the health of the department. Has never actually worked as a fireman or even a paramedic for that matter. It shows. Uses his loud, aggressive tone when speaking to not only intimidate his subordinates, but to portray his competence. If you have any experience on the job, you see right through the facade.
When is comes to community relations, he has somehow managed to anger every single business in the district. Is the first chief, to somehow mange to get the districts first citation of notice to abate for overgrown weeds. ( which the district created in the first place).
In his first months of the job, officially banned all training for all members.
Has spent 10s thousands of dollars on attending conferences for EMS. Also in first months , replaced entire districts foam supply with his own foam, which he is an employee of that business.

Bullies and intimidates staff. Retaliates against staff and public. Disciplines staff without cause or reasoning. Has held fire chief positions all over the country. Was ousted from all. Has created a hostile work environment. Frequent complaints from public and organizational members. Is operationally incompetent. Incapable of effective communication, leadership, mentoring or management. Has been the primary reason for several internal investigations and sole cause of many resignations. Has failed to meet or complete many organizational goals and projects. Will read this review and seek retaliation. And will be allowed to by the current governing board of directors.
