Donald Todd has been the fire chief of the Plantation fire Department since December 18, 2019. Chief Todd has been with the fire department for over 30 years. He started as a volunteer firefighter and was promoted to driver, lieutenant, station captain, battalion chief as a volunteer. Chief Todd was hired as a full time fire inspector. Chief Todd was promoted to fire marshal then Deputy chief of operations prior to his appointment in 2018 to fire chief.
