Rural Metro is a private fire service formed in Phoenix Arizona in 1948, funded by master contracts and individual property subscriptions. The Central Arizona operation currently serves across unincorporated Maricopa and Pinal Counties with 9 stations and 11 ALS Engines, every Engine being equipped with extrication and saws on top of normal fire engine equipment.
