Tom is a terrible leader and should have never been given the job. He was passed over by his own dept of 20 years for fire chief for a Fire Marshall who had been at the dept for 8 years. He only wants “yes” men to work for him. It’s a do as I say and not as I do type person. At his previous dept he had several grievances filed against him and lost them.
