The Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) is the primary municipal fire and rescue service provider for the City of Tallahassee and Leon County, Florida. Led by Fire Chief Gene Sanders, who has served since May 2023, the department operates 16 fire stations providing fire suppression, hazardous material response, and advanced life support (ALS) non-transport medical services.

Severely underpaid, while there’s plenty of money to pay staff and add staff positions. Hiring all fresh out of highschool because they’re the ones who have no idea the benefits are trash. A bunch of men in white shirts making too much money, who find running telestaff and neurosurgery equally as hard.
