Brampton Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) is tasked with serving the rapidly growing City of Brampton, which in 2024 is estimated to have a population around 791,486 inhabitants over a land area of approximately 265.9 km². The department operates from 13 fire stations and fields a fleet of about 22 frontline apparatus to respond to a broad spectrum of emergencies. Each year, BFES handles in excess of 20,000 calls , covering fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials, and first responder duties.
