North Fork Fire & Rescue or otherwise known as North Fork Special Services District is a small Fire Deparment in Sundance Utah.
North Fork is an all hazard Fire Department. North Fork is made up of Full and Part time firefighters with at least 1 full time Firefighter/Paramedic per shift.
North fork staffs a medic ambulance daily and has 2 daytime 12 hour firefighters on the engine on Saturdays and Sundays. Other days it is up to the on duty firefighters to jump staff apparatus.
North fork fire responds to approximately 300 calls for service each year. Calls range from accidents at Sundance ski resort, vehicle accidents, search and rescue incidents, swift water rescues in the Provo river and structure/vehicle fires.
North Fork Fire also has a wildland division and has multiple wildland engines up for deployment year round. North Fork has a strongly developed wildland program managed by engine bosses and the fire chief.
