This is one of the last of these types of fire departments left in Minnesota. You know the story. Morbidly obese father-son team since 1977.
Morbidly Obese, untrained, and even more unwilling to be trained admin. 1994 was the last good year for this department.
Small and obsolete structure. Unable to get a truck on scene in less than 12 minutes. Current chief cant have command, it has to be passed to next chief from another city.
Not a big deal in the end because neighboring cities have taken care of serious emergencies for 7+years.
