Founded in 1931, the Palm Springs Fire Department (PSFD) has proudly served the community of Palm Springs, California for over 90 years. With a mission to protect life, property, and the environment, PSFD provides professional fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and fire prevention education.
Operating out of five strategically located fire stations, PSFD is staffed by a dedicated team of highly trained firefighters, paramedics, and support personnel who respond to thousands of emergency calls each year. The department is committed to excellence through continual training, innovation, and a strong focus on community engagement.
